One loyalty platform for 17,000 stores - Circle K on Talon. One
Circle K serves 9 million+ customers a day across 31 countries - on a US loyalty system being discontinued and a European platform built for finance. The chain is consolidating onto Talon. One: ~12 million monthly active members in North America's Inner Circle, ~3 million across 8 European markets, Poland live since September with very little to report. Sayso filmed two Circle K loyalty leaders in Stockholm.
Instead of having hacked solutions that we continuously was a little bit afraid about - will they work, will they break? - now we have a platform we know that works, and that can support us in the ambitions we have on loyalty.
Shot inside a working hotel in Stockholm: a single-camera set built in a hotel room, videographer on location, director dialled in by voice only. Two interviewees recorded back to back in the same setup. The laptop was turned away and then closed outright because the interviewee kept reading from it and could see her own image - "there's no computers, there's nothing, there's just you and me". The door was closed for sound, one take restarted after a room noise, and B-roll was walked around the hotel afterwards with no extra lighting.
What this film answers
Its US system was being discontinued and its European platform was originally built for finance. Circle K chose Talon. One as the single global loyalty stack to replace both.
Market by market: Poland went live in September with very little to report, with the Baltics and Nordics following, alongside ~12 million Inner Circle members in North America.
A platform they know will work. In Circle K's words: no more hacked solutions you are a little bit afraid of - a platform that supports the ambitions they have on loyalty.
